A very well attended Blackburn United FC’s presentation evening was held on Saturday 6th July to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the players, Managers, coaches, parents and volunteers who have all contributed to make once again the season such a success.
Club chairman Iqbal Bhai, welcomed everyone and drew attention and appreciated the hard work and commitment of all involved with the club & and how well things had progressed, both on and off the field.
Gratitude and thanks were expressed to Preston Walker Solicitors ,Tauheedul Islam Girls High School & Six Form College, Whalley Range Pharmacy, 4 court Pharmacy, Park Computors , Pixa biz & One Voice for their contribution and assistance throughout the season.
For each team in turn, the team manager gave brief overview of the season,and players were then called to receive awards from the sponsers.
Appreciation was shown to Hanif Mogra for all his hard and dedicated work over a number of years, and to recognise this , he was presented with a special award for service to the club. Indeed a true ,loyal, reliable Blackburn United legend.
